Calculator inputs

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The figures you type — income, balances, filing status, savings — are never sent to our servers, because there is no server-side computation to send them to. They exist only in your browser's memory and in the page URL, and both disappear when you close the tab.

Shareable links

As you change an input, the page updates its own address bar so you can bookmark or share a filled-in calculation. That link contains your figures. Treat it as you would any document containing your financial details, and be careful where you paste it.

Server logs

Our web server keeps standard access logs — the page requested, a timestamp, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string — for security and diagnostics. These are not used to build a profile of you and are rotated on a routine schedule.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics that identify you personally.

Third parties

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers. Where advertising is displayed, the ad provider may set its own cookies under its own policy. No calculator input is ever shared with an advertiser or any other third party.
